Use Garden Safe® Brand Diatomaceous Earth Crawling Insect Killer for organic gardening. The formula kills listed insects by contact, including German cockroaches, ants,* beetles,** fleas, mealybugs and other listed crawling insects. Use outdoors on plants and on the soil around plants to kill listed crawling insects by contact. When dusted on insects, the fine/powdery granules coat their exoskeletons and absorb oils and fats, causing them to dry out and die. The granules also cut into insects' outer skeletons, causing them to dehydrate further.

Always read the entire label and follow all directions and precautions.

How to Apply

Apply Garden Safe® Brand Diatomaceous Earth Crawling Insect Killer to areas as directed. Use adequate ventilation and avoid breathing dust. Wear a suitable dust mask when using this product if prolonged exposure is expected. The amount of product will vary with the site but should be in the range of 2-5 oz per 10 sq ft.

Where to Use

Use OUTDOORS on plants and on the soil around plants against: German cockroaches, ants (except carpenter, harvester and pharaoh ants), beetles (except wood-destroying beetles), adelgids, aphids, assassin bugs, black widow spiders, boxelder bugs, caterpillars, centipedes, chinch bugs, cicadas, cutworms, earwigs, fall armyworms, fleas, fire ants, leaf-footed bugs, leafminers, leafhoppers, leafrollers, leaf skeletonizers, mealybugs, moths, phylloxera, psyllids, scales, sharpshooters, slugs, spittlebugs, stink bugs, treehoppers and whiteflies: Apply this product to entire plant and around the base of plants. Apply to insects directly if possible.

Hazards to Humans and Domestic Animals

CAUTION. Causes moderate eye irritation. Avoid contact with eyes or clothing. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling and before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco or using the toilet.

If in Eyes: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first five minutes, then continue rinsing eyes. Call a Poison Control Center or doctor for treatment advice.
