Garden Safe ® Brand Crawling Insect Killer Containing Diatomaceous Earth 3.4 5 5 5
Hasn't worked... yet I put this product in my yard, heavily, and around and inside my house. It's been 1 week, still catching fleas in my trap in the house (light trap and dawn). I bathe my chihuahua in Adam's flea shampoo, and after coming back inside from a potty break, she picks up 20 more fleas. Not sure if it's user error. Could have gotten wet in the yard. So, I'm going to try it again. If it doens't work after this back to the drawing board. GEEZ I HATE FLEAS!! May 6, 2013
Does not work I bought this for fleas, but decided to try its effectiveness on other insects as advertised. I found a silverfish and placed it in a small container with some of the powder. After a week the silverfish is very much alive. I have even shaken the container to coat the insect. That did not help. I have hard time believeing that an insect lightly crawling over this powder would be more effective than being coated with it. Hopefully it is more effective on other insects. April 20, 2013
TICKS does it kill ticks? and is it safe to use around pets? can i use on lawn? April 9, 2013
inhaling? What happens if you inhale this or somehow consume some (say a roach crawled on a plate afterwards and you didn't notice) ? March 3, 2013
how should i apply the product should i leave it visible once applied or smash it on the carpet June 23, 2012

I am using this to rid our home and yard of fleas, and read you can use food grade DE to rub into your pet's fur. Can this be used that way?

Answer:
The product is 100% non-treated diatomaceous earth, with no other ingredients added. It's packaged as it's mined. Because we market it as a pesticide, the “Hazards to Humans and Domestic Animals” statement on the package is standard required language. Even though this is a “natural” material, there are still hazards associated with it, particularly if it is accidently inhaled, so please read the precautionary information on the package before applying it anywhere.

Pet Safe?

Is this product safe to use around cats/kittens and dogs? We have a pest problem inside, and I want to make sure that whatever I use will not harm my furry angels.

Answer:
Because there are so many different uses for this product, we don't have a square footage number. Because you should just use a light dusting to coat surfaces with a thin layer of this product, however, the bag should go pretty far.
